Discerning God’s Will

I was asked this question from Anonymous:
“We are often told the purpose of our life is to get to heaven by doing God’s will. Is this just the general purpose that we are called to? Is this what is meant by doing God’s will? Or does God have a specific will for our lives? For example, are some called to being single or married, being a teacher or doctor or taking this job or a different one? I have heard Christians, especially Protestants, talk about doing God’s will in our lives and that God led them to making a specific decision about a job or taking a certain trip. How are we ever supposed to know God’s will or if we are making the right decisions?”

Here is my video reply:

You taught very well and I enjoyed every second of it. Please do not stop! Even if I’m French (Canada), I understood every word you told. I looked rapidly at you work: very impressive.

You give the taste of searching more deeply the treasure by consulting other books. Communication from you is easily understood. Will you continue you work in other field of catholicism?

Thank you a lot for your research in the catholic doctrine et moreoever to give it to us in your words

      Denis,
I am glad you enjoy my teaching! I love Christ and the Catholic faith and try to find opportunities to teach as often as possible.
You can follow me on Facebook if you wish. I also have a YouTube channel you can subscribe to.
Some of the talks I have done have been recorded (and this can be found at this website under the tab “Live Talks”. I teach even more than this locally but it is not often recorded.
The link to my appearances on the show “The Choices We Face” is also under this same tab: “Live Talks”
I am also leading a Facebook Book Club and you can find info on this under the tab “Kindling the Catholic Faith Book Club”

But I am always looking for other opportunities to share the faith so I never know what God is planning for me next! I pray for the wisdom to see his plan and the grace to always be faithful!

Please keep me in your prayers and know you are in mine.

      God bless,
      Allison
